Nikos Stamos

Nikos’s interest in physiotherapy started early on in his life, as both of his parents are practicing physiotherapists in Greece. He successfully completed his degree in Athens more than 20 years ago and worked in several different hospitals.

He discovered a passion in manual therapy and completed numerous courses of the Kaltenborn/ Evjenth concept. He has built extensive expertise in treatment and rehabilitation of spinal conditions, shoulder and knee dysfunctions.

He is a certified Schroth physiotherapist for the treatment of scoliosis and postural deformities – Askepios Klinik, Bad Sobernheim, Germany. He holds a Masters in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton and a diploma in Injection Therapy from the University of Southampton. His MSc thesis was published in the well-acknowledged Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics.

He has worked in several NHS hospitals and private practices around the UK. His international work experience has helped him to shape his own practice and alongside his colleague and wife, Heba Massri, founded Physiomove London more than 10 years ago. He is fluent in both English and Greek.
