Raisa earned her BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Santo Tomas and began her career as a licensed physiotherapist in the Philippines. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a practicing member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
She gained extensive experience at one of the largest tertiary hospitals in the Philippines, managing a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal, neurological, geriatric, cardiopulmonary, and post-operative cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In the UK, Raisa has worked with both NHS and private patients and has also held a role as a First Contact Physiotherapist in primary care, specializing in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions.
Her main clinical interests are musculoskeletal and women’s health physiotherapy. She is an affiliate member of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) and a practicing member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
